SPIRA

Premiere:

Teatro

SPIRA is conceived as the geology of a myth, a morphogenesis where a serpentine deity becomes a symbol of the transmutation of our identities. This being manifests itself as an omen and a call, not only to warn us of the dangers of self-destruction but to remind us that the beginning and the end of all things are part of the same cycle. Within that space lies the seed of a new beginning.

The call of this deity and its organic cry urge us to observe our universe, embrace our darkness, and find beauty within it.

This work, created by Eduardo Vallejo, draws inspiration from echoes of myths such as Melusine, the Ouroboros, and the Leontocephaline. This journey reminds us how beauty can endure in the strangest and darkest of environments, becoming a symbol of resilience.

SPIRA seeks not only to immerse the audience in its imagery with every shape, vision, or landscape but also to pose questions about who we are, where we are headed, and what we might become. It invites us to explore the uniqueness of being human and to find beauty in transformation. SPIRA reminds us that in the eternal cycle of life, transformation is the first step toward the light.
